ManagerLeague : Online football manager : ManagerLeague Champions League.

There will first be a group stage, before entering the final stages of the tournament, the knock-out stages. And of course , at the end there WILL be a BIG final. Different leagues may have unequal numbers of teams in the tournament, since some leagues are substantially bigger than others, and therefore get more spots.

Last season, the qualification for the Champions League took place, and a few out of the 34 000 extremely skilled managers in ManagerLeague earned their spot in the tournament this season. They are the top of the pops, and deserves some credit for being the first 64 teams to enter the ManagerLeague Champions League.

In Group 1, Manch United, Royals, lardyuk fc, morphers, Poker Alho, March of Flames FC, ManUtd123 and Gallipoli FC will play each other to decide who earns the 2 top spots of the group. Those are the 2 spots which will earn them the right to enter the knock-out stages. Will they all have a Royal Poker party at the end of the group stage, with a march ending up in flames ?

In Group 2, Spurred On, TheGunners, Lavras City, CS Cizme Rupte, Atletico de Braga, Azulas, S S Lazio and Bavaria Bulldogs will probably have a dog- fight for those 2 spots at the top of their group table.

In Group 3, the battle will be fought by Ringnesklanen, Nabolaget, Chimpsters Champs, Real Madrid FC, Agorreta FC, Galacticos , Dinamo Apulia and Orc Warriors. Will the ML Real Madrid be just as good as the original ?

In Group 4, Deportivo Quito, Dial Square, Milky Way, FC Pontevedra, The Lemons, Wellington Phoenix FC, PFC CSKA Sofia and Holland 1 - A-tack are the 8 teams which will be stealing points from each other. Can a bunch of lemons win this group ?

In Group 5, the 8 teams are CSKA REDLIONS, kilsmo ik, DutchWingers, Real Boludos, OmenMordaciousKickers, Petlan, Pomfrets and Royal Standard de Liege. Noone can tell who is better, a team full of lions or a bunch of dutch wingers ? Or will someone else be at the top of the table at the end of the group stage ?

In Group 6, we have ZARA BOYS, Veritas et Aequitas, DINAMO 13, Real Pucela CF, TheOneandOnlyOceanGnomes, Panjevi, ddude and NikeNike. Might we be surprised by a bunch of gnomes from the sea?

In Group 7, The Heathens, Himmelsblått, RO Forza Ragazzi, CDEstarreja, CzarneKoszule, Hard Soccer, EskisehirSpor and HFK Junior will be battling for the right to raise to the stars. It seems we will see some hard soccer in this group.

In Group 8, Golangutta, Dropkick Murphys, kraMMer Team, Alcagoitas de Baixo, ALLTHEWAY, GD PEDRO SILVA, GALATASARAYIM and Reservoir Dogs are the last 8 teams that CAN take the title this season. They will first have to be among the top 2 teams in their group, and then fight their way all the way to the finals.

I know I have basically just listed the teams who is participationg in the Champions League this season. For that I am sorry, but I just didn’t have the time to look more closely into the teams, and figure out who will win the first Champions League in ManagerLeague history. Therefore, I leave this one to you…

Anyone have some suggestions which 16 teams will make it to the knock out stages, and ultimately win the final ? If so, make a comment under this article, if you dare.

My bet is, Gizmo will at least have an opinion on that subject. We might even be so lucky he will post his suggestions as a comment here ?
